I have over 20 years of experience working with people, starting with Toronto Parks & Recreation at age 14, and 9 years experience in the moving industry. I spend a lot of my free time, when not with family & friends, reading, teaching primary age Sunday school and working on my art (All activities that lead to clutter). Coming from a family of clutter keepers and struggling with this myself, I understand how stressful this can be and how stuck it can make you feel.
I’m a very visual person and my space is a combination of out of sight and on display. My extras and less often used items are stored neatly away and things like my sewing fabrics are in clear craft bins on open shelves.
Living in a small space; I have lots of experience with purging and organizing as it’s something I have to do at least a few times a year to keep ahead of it all! And I’ve learned how to let go of the things I don’t need in my space. Just because you got it on sale doesn’t mean you need it in your life!
My client-focused, non-judgmental approach helps clients feel supported and encouraged to move forward in organizing their space. As a graduate of George Brown College Archives and Records Management, I've made a seamless progression into home organizing.
“As a professionally trained organizer, I collaborate with our clients, assisting them to realize their visions and goals for organizing their space. It’s a fantastic feeling of achievement, personal satisfaction and loving their transformed space that inspires me to keep helping people find happiness in their homes or offices.”
With 10+ years in the storage/warehouse/moving industry, I'm able to use my organizing expertise to help our client’s enhance their spaces, helping people make practical and aesthetically pleasing decisions for the ultimate goal of reclaiming and enjoying their spaces. I take great pride in the work I do with our clients.
In my spare time, I'm devoted to volunteering with Lion’s Foundation Dog Guides, helping the puppy foster family community and will bring a sense of Zen, as a graduate of the Sivananda Chair Yoga Teacher training.
