This company gave us exceptional service from beginning to end of our moving process. They were extremely transparent about all of the costs, they were super helpful in answering any questions that we had, they did not only take care of our belongings...they also took care of getting me to the new apartment location, since I am not from Toronto. The customer service agent, manager, and moving guys were friendly, patient, and compassionate people. They were efficient and very careful with all of my daughter's belongings and they didn't waste any time. A last minute mover needed to be added to the team, and I was called with an explanation and the cost beforehand. There were absolutely no hidden fees. They always kept me in the loop and updated as to what was happening. They also arranged to return a sofa bed that couldn't fit through the door of the new apartment, and drove it back to the old apartment the next day, when I was available. Wow, they certainly went "the extra mile" for sure! We highly recommend this company for any of your moving needs. They go above and beyond when it comes to service, and you should never hesitate in hiring this company for your next move.

Had an excellent experience with YFCV; Booking was simple via a combo email and telephone - Staff was very friendly and responsive; The movers Madhi and Jorge were on-time and were absolute machines at moving 30+ boxes and furniture; Total move only took about 2 1/2 hours; No question YFCV provides great value: the quote rates were very competitive, and we ended up paying under what we expected; It totally makes sense why these guys have wayyyy better reviews than any other movers in the GTA - which is why we went with them in the first place.

Hi , So I just walked into the location after searching them online to book up boxes ,packing materials and mattress covers etc.firstly they are all very polite and courteous which is amazing and much appreciated .everybody whether you talk to on the phone or in person is helpful and amazing .all my questions were answered by the amazing staff .additionally Dennis who is a great guy dropped us back to our place ,something he didn’t need to do .i regretted not booking our entire move with them as it would’ve certainly been less stressful .good luck you guys with your business and the value you place on even the smallest customers.

I had to move some things from my dad's condo to 3 different places, including 3 display cabinets, 2 of which were almost all glass. The movers at YFCV carefully took out the shelves and wrapped up everything. They organized the truck for the 3 deliveries and brought in the cabinets and set them up. Very professional and really acted like a friend!

Denis and team were excellent- punctual, proficient and very friendly. We had a complicated move with 3 different stops/ 3 different contact people involved and it went seamlessly. Along the way the team had to refuel and called to give me the heads up, and even showed me on the timer they were using the recorded time for the stop that I wouldn't be charged for. Superb little moving store. I lived in the area for two years before I finally walked in. Don't make the same mistake that I did -- go there sooner rather than later for moving supplies or good conversation with the kind employees. If you are looking for well-priced movers that will take great care of your things then I would highly recommend Your Friend with a Cube Van. I got their name off of BlogTO that gave its recommendation of the best movers in the city. I called five different companies from that “best of” list and from the moment I spoke with Denis, I felt comfortable in choosing them. He was friendly, honest, straightforward, and he gave us a great price. The movers who took care of us that day worked extremely diligently to care for all of our items and ensure that we met with the elevator timelines that had to be strictly adhered to. From start to finish they never failed to disappoint. We didn’t lose anything in the move (which I have had happen during many moves over the years) and no items were damaged or broken (I’ve also experienced this with other movers in the past). I cannot say strongly enough how glad you will be that you chose this company to move you and if I move again, I would most definitely call them again and I’ve already recommended them to my friends, family and colleagues.

The guys were very organized, hard-working, efficient and worked hard to problem solve moving large furniture into small spaces -  with a smile. Very pleased with my move from a Yorkville condo to an Upper Beaches bungalow. I had the great assistance of Victor, Denis and Andrew. They were very helpful and polite and even assisted with protecting my furniture with bubble wrap and blankets. Denis (the boss) even disassembled my bed and reassembled it. He is the company owner and was sure to deliver a great service along with his team. "I had the pleasure of Nazir and Victor at Your Friend with a Cube Van move me last month. They were on time, friendly, polite and very professional. They packed up my (1 bedroom house) in under an hour. We arrived at my new condo building and faced a number of challenges (out of our control) with the elevator. I hired this company to move the contents of a one bedroom apt to a storage space. I liked them from first contact on the phone. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, kind and the information was complete. All questions were answered clearly and concisely. The movers, Stephen and James, were punctual, friendly, efficient and respectful of the belongings and space. The entire move took approximately 3 hours and the price quoted was exactly what I paid. My mover's name was Denis. He was very kind, respectable and patient ( my roommate and I took longer than scheduled packing the truck). Although he did not help us load the truck from where we were moving from - only because it needed to be included in the purchasing or something - he did, however, help us unload at our final destination. They helped me pack and move, within three hours, all work is done. The service was very professional. They have the perfect wardrobe box for directly move clothes with hanger, as there is no need to remove the hanger and re-hang them. They are very smart in moving small items too. The movers are working very efficiently and save money and time for clients. I first obtained a quotation price but then the final price turns out to be much lower because of their fast work. They also do not charge travel time if you are based in their service area. Highly recommend!

I hired Your Friend With a Cube Van for a move on the same street from a 2 bedroom townhouse to a 4 bedroom. They were great! They not only showed up, but showed up on time, were fast, friendly, and very efficient. They were organized and made sure to check in with me if they had questions. They completed the job in a reasonable amount of time (actually it was exactly how long I estimated it would take) and gave me updates on their progress throughout the move. YFCV provided a quote for our office move that was virtually bang-on. It actually ended up costing a little less than expected. Although arriving late due to traffic, they called well in advance to apprise me of the situation.

They worked through the evening to move our office, as near as I could tell taking no breaks until the job was done. The four movers were cooperative and accommodating, despite several obstacles.

I will definitely be calling YFCV should we require a mover again, and I would recommend their services to anyone else.

YFWCV is as good as it gets for movers. They were right on time, friendly, professional, took good care of my stuff, and didn't bat an eyelash at my "eccentric" but beloved items, such as a very very very heavy vintage couch (about 300 lbs). They also moved my LCD tv without a box, and without leaving a scratch on it. The cost was well on-target, no hidden fees or sneaky charges! I would definitely use them again (although I'm hoping my moving days are over, at least for a while!).

I used YFCV to move across the city and I was very happy with the experience. They came on time, got straight to work and moved very fast, while being careful with my stuff and being careful with the walls/floors etc. Friendly and fun guys!  Good communication by email and phone in advance of the moving date. Pricing is very fair (there are no quotes, they charge for the amount of time). Well equipped with dollies and spare boxes for those awkward items. I will definitely call them for my next move.
